What you need to know regarding Insurance! What to do in any incident, including accidents, damage, and after working hours!
Once you have filed your incident report, here are your immediate next steps:
1) If you find yourself in an accident please dial 911 immediately and file a collision report (keep note of your collision report number for insurance purposes)
**If you are not involved in an accident proceed directly to step two**
2) If you your vehicle is not driveable or you're in an emergency that requires immediate assistance, please call our 24-hour number at 877-340-1737, all vehicle damage or incident must be reported to a Roam customer support rep to assist you
**If your vehicle is driveable, proceed to drive to safety and call our 24-hour number at 877-340-1737**
3) Ensure that you have completed the Roam Incident Report form, you have contacted the Roam 24 hour service line, and await a response from the Roam team

Roadside assistance covers you for spare tire installs, drained batteries, key lockouts, or any other services that require towing. It's easy to connect with roadside support, all you need to do is call one of the number’s above, have your VIN information handy, and provide it to the customer support rep who will connect you with a tow truck or service vehicle.
The 24hr emergency line will connect you to directly to your dedicated roadside assistance line, simply call 877-340-1737 to have your incident recorded with the Roam team and then connected to roadside!

Am I covered outside of Ontario?
Roam vehicles must only be driven in the province of Ontario. For questions about authorized travel within Canada, please contact our support team.

**Our insurance policy does not currently cover any cross border driving**
Incidents that occur outside of the province can result in expenses which are not covered by insurance.
Please be advised of the following information:
- Towing costs - If the vehicle is undriveable and is out of province, the cost for the vehicle tow between the out of province location and Toronto is not covered by insurance
- Tire and Glass - Same as always, not covered by insurance but any incident (windshield chips/cracks, or tire patching/replacement) will still need to be reported. Roadside assistance will still assist at no additional cost to provide help where possible (spare tire switch, patching kit help, etc)
- Undriveable Vehicle - In the event your vehicle is towed if un-drivable, you are required to follow the tow to the location the vehicle will be located and update the Roam team with the location details
- Maintenance and Work Orders - No work is to be authorized by the customer as per standard practice same as always. If any work is to be completed or service required, you must contact Roam in order to provide authorization or you can be fully responsible for any costs for un-authorized work
- Impound Lots & 3rd Party Garage/Storage - In the event a vehicle is taken/towed to an impound lot or 3rd party lot/storage, the cost for the daily storage is not covered by insurance

To provide you with the best price possible, we have made it a policy to not profit from the repair work. We simply pass the cost onto you so you can rest assured that you’re getting a good price with our trusted repairshop.

In the event there is major damage to your vehicle, we will work with our service partners to get the repairs done and get you back in your vehicle as quickly as possible.
Will my credit card insurance cover any damages?
If you incur any damage on the vehicle, we will send you an invoice to pay. You are required to pay the minimum deductible if you are involved in any accident or have damage outstanding on your vehicle.
