You've arranged your vehicle pickup, here's what you need to know before you arrive.

 

Before You Arrive

 

Making changes to your subscription

At this point, your subscription success manager has

  • helped you arrange your specific vehicle for pickup
  • worked with you to select the right plan for your needs
  • finalized your vehicle pickup arrangements 

If you need to make additional changes or updates to your subscription, you can still do so before pickup date. Common requests are adding RoamCare incident coverage, adding more kilometers to your plan, changing vehicles or terms, or updating your pickup date.

Adding secondary driver

To save you time on pickup day and if you plan on adding another driver to your subscription, we recommend getting this done ahead of time! Sometimes our insurance provider can take 24-48 hours to turn around an application.

To add a second driver to your plan, they need to submit a subscription request themselves, and our team will process their insurance approval and link their profile to yours! The driver eligibility criteria is the same as the primary. For more info on adding a secondary driver, refer here.

 


 

On Pickup Day

 

Preparing for your pickup or valet delivery

Your subscription agreement will have been sent to you by the Roam team for signing.

For pickup, if you are a first time Roam subscriber, it is advised to come 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This gives you time to prepare, and ensure our Vehicle Experts have enough time to walk you through your vehicle orientation.


For valet, you will be called the morning of your dropoff.

 

Subscription activation & agreement

Your subscription agreement is what makes your subscription official, and provides your Roam insurance coverage! It will be sent to you for signing by your Subscription Success Manager when you finish reserving your vehicle, or the morning of pickup day.


The agreement should be signed before you arrive to the office. 
For valets, the agreement must be signed before the team leaves.

What you need for vehicle handoff
During handoff, the primary driver of the Roam subscription needs to be present. We will ask to see your physical driver's license.

Your subscription will be activated the day of your pickup or valet, and your first month's payment will be processed in full. Your refundable security deposit is not applied to your first month's payment.

Please ensure you've made the necessary arrangements ahead of time with your credit card provider. In some cases, an authorization is needed for higher transaction amounts.

 

Roam team & facilities 

At the office, we have desks, seating, and and couches. We also have snacks and hot or cold beverages available at your request!Make yourself at home, with our ping pong table or basketball arcade game!
Our goal is to make you as comfortable as possible and get you on your way to make it the best experience.

Please note, if you need to use the bathroom, please do so ahead of time. Our only bathroom is in the back shop and for insurance reasons we are unable to have subscribers back there.

 

Vehicle orientation & inspection

Your vehicle specialist will help you answer any remaining questions and get you on your way! A vehicle inspection will be performed, and you will be asked for a photo of your driver's license for verification purposes. You will be texted a copy of the inspection to your phone. Your vehicle specialist will walk you around your vehicle and help answer any questions relating to bluetooth setup, or features.
