Do you require a credit check?
Roam completes a soft credit check which does not affect your credit score. This is part of our driver approval process. To become an eligible driver with Roam, a minimum credit score of 650 is required!
Please note this is a soft credit check. This means this inquiry will not affect your credit score whatsoever!
Do you require a Background check?
Yes! Our insurance provider assess your information provided after you submit your driver's licence to confirm that you meet our driver requirements. They will check:
- If you are a minimum of 23 years old or older
- If you have no major criminal convictions or moving violations.
- If you have no current licence suspensions or driving infractions in the last 3 years
- If you have a valid licence
