If you are looking to return your vehicle or end your subscription, this article will walk you through the steps needed to return your vehicle and close your account.

Step 1: Schedule Your Return
Schedule your vehicle return date by contacting Roam’s team. Your return must be scheduled a minimum of 14 days in advanced.
It is required to speak to an account manager over the phone to end your subscription.
You will be asked to confirm if:
- You have new damages to be disclosed
- You have any potential mileage overages
- You have any outstanding tickets or tolls
Step 2: Prepare Your Vehicle
Refer to the checklist below to prepare for your return:
- Remove any garbage and belongings
- Clean up any stains, spills, pet hair, and dirt
**Vehicles returned with excessive dirt, pet hair, stains, or strong odours will be subject to a 'Deep Cleaning Fee' starting at $180+HST** - Ensure all items that came with the vehicle, such as floor mats, extra tires, or charging cables, must be returned with the vehicle
- Ensure ownership, insurance slips, the service manual, and any other documentation that came with the vehicle is returned with the vehicle
- Any provided accessories, like a 407 transponder, must be returned with the vehicle
- All keys must be returned
- The fuel/charge level is the same as when you first received your vehicle
Note: Smoking and vaping in your Roam vehicle is strictly prohibited. Odours from smoking and vaping are considered damage. You will be responsible for your deductible amount if our team has confirmed the odours/damages and your deposit will not be refunded.
Step 3: Return Your Vehicle
After you have completed a call with an account manager, you will be booked in for your preferred return date. Your account manager will re-confirm your drop off or valet on the day you have scheduled.
To make any changes to your return date, please contact the Roam support team immediately.
Step 4: Complete Your Inspection
When you return your vehicle, our team will conduct an inspection of the vehicle with you. During the inspection, we check for:
- The cleanliness of the vehicle
- Damages beyond normal wear and tear
- Fuel level
- Mileage driven
- Vehicle accessories
If our vehicle specialist team has determined that the car will require additional attention due to damages, mileage overages, or cleanliness, our billing and support team will reach out after your return to confirm the cost and billing options available.

Our support and billing team will confirm the following over the next 5-10 business days:
- Your security deposit status (what is to be refunded)
- Your remaining billing details (if there are outstanding fees needed to be cleared)
- Any other additional information related to your subscription
